The Atelier Take
A no-fee card that pays 5x where many small businesses spend every month, and is worth considerably more beside a card that transfers points.
Who it suits
Businesses with regular internet, phone and office supply store spending, and owners who already hold an Ink Business Preferred or a Sapphire card to transfer the points.
Who should skip it
Businesses that spend abroad, as it charges a 3% foreign transaction fee, and anyone whose spending sits mostly outside the bonus categories: the Ink Business Unlimited earns 1.5x on everything.
What it earns
Rewards: Chase Ultimate Rewards points (100 points = $1), worth 1¢ each on their own. Moved to an Ink Business Preferred, Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve held by the owner, they become transferable to airline and hotel partners.

Everything else
On their own the points are worth 1¢ each, so 5x is 5¢ per dollar. Moved to an Ink Business Preferred, Sapphire Preferred or Sapphire Reserve, the same points can be transferred, and at TPG’s 2.05¢ valuation 5x is then worth about 10.3¢ per dollar. The 5x cap is $25,000 a year, so the most it can earn there is 125,000 points.
Other benefits

Employee cards
No fee, with individual spending limits.
Points don’t expire
As long as the account is open.
What it is worth
No annual fee, so nothing to earn back. Spending $25,000 a year on internet, phone and office supply stores earns 125,000 points, $1,250 as cash.
Its real value is beside an Ink Business Preferred or a Sapphire card: every point can then be transferred, and at TPG’s 2.05¢ valuation that 5x becomes about 10.3¢ per dollar. The welcome offer alone is then worth about $1,538.
