This policy explains what information Points Atelier ("we", "us") collects when you visit pointsatelier.com, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us, and what we do with it. We collect as little as we can.
What we collect
When you subscribe. Your email address, and your name if you choose to give it. We use these to send you the newsletter and manage your subscription.
When you read our emails. Our email platform records whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked. We use this, in aggregate, to understand what readers find useful.
When you browse the site. Basic technical information such as pages visited and how you arrived (for example, from a search engine or social post). We use this to understand which content is useful. We do not use advertising trackers.
When you contact us. Whatever you choose to include in your message, which we use only to reply.
When you message us on social media. Messages sent to our social accounts are handled by those platforms under their own privacy policies. If we use an automated tool to reply to messages, it only processes what is needed to send the reply you asked for.
Cookies
Our site uses a small number of cookies needed for it to work, such as keeping you signed in as a subscriber. We do not use advertising cookies.
When you click an affiliate link, the company or affiliate network you visit may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. Those cookies are governed by that company's privacy policy, not ours. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We use trusted service providers to run the site and newsletter, including our publishing platform (Ghost) and its email delivery provider. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription details for as long as you are subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. You can ask us to delete your details entirely at any time.
Your choices and rights

- Access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@pointsatelier.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, such as the right to know what we hold about you. We will respond to any request within the time the law requires.
Children
Points Atelier is written for adults and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the newsletter.
