Everything else
Rewards are cash back that never expires and can be redeemed for any amount. Held alongside a Venture or Venture X, the cash back can be moved to that account as miles and transferred to airline partners.
Other benefits
Hertz Five Star status
A free status upgrade with Hertz.
Capital One Café
50% off handcrafted drinks at Capital One Cafés.
Redeem at Amazon or PayPal
Rewards can pay for Amazon.com and eligible PayPal purchases.
What it is worth
No annual fee, so nothing to earn back. On $800 a month across dining, groceries and streaming, 3% returns $288 a year in cash.
Paired with a Venture card, the same rewards can become transferable miles, which is where Savor becomes more than a cash-back card.
Insurance and protections
Capital One lists these protections on the card’s page; limits depend on the card’s network tier and are set out in the Guide to Benefits sent with the card. There is no trip delay, trip cancellation or cell phone cover listed.
Extended warranty
Additional warranty protection on eligible items bought with the card.
Travel accident insurance
Automatic cover when the fare is paid with the card.
24-hour travel assistance
Emergency card replacement and cash advance if the card is lost or stolen.
