Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, explained
The way to fly Singapore Airlines’ Suites and business class on points, and a published chart that four U.S. banks feed. How KrisFlyer works after its November 2025 changes, and where the miles go furthest.
Singapore Airlines keeps its best seats for its own members. Premium cabins are rarely released to partner programs, which makes KrisFlyer, Singapore’s own program, the practical way to book them with points. Its chart is published, the November 2025 increases were modest, and American Express, Chase, Capital One and Citi all transfer to it.

How the chart works
Singapore Airlines publishes one-way prices by zone, in two levels: Saver (limited seats, lower prices) and Advantage (more seats, higher prices). Since November 1, 2025 there is also Access, a dynamic price for any remaining seat, with no published figures, according to Singapore Airlines. Saver prices from Singapore Airlines’ chart, one-way:
| Saver, one-way | Economy | Premium economy | Business | Suites or first |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Singapore to the U.S. West Coast | 44,000 | 79,000 | 112,500 | 154,000 |
| Singapore to the U.S. East Coast | 46,000 | 84,500 | 117,000 | 156,000 |
| Frankfurt to New York (nonstop) | 27,500 | 57,000 | 89,000 | 106,500 |
| Tokyo to Los Angeles (nonstop) | 42,500 | 80,500 | 114,000 | 132,500 |
| Singapore to Japan or Korea | 25,500 | 39,500 | 54,500 | 81,000 |
Taxes on Singapore Airlines awards start from US$24, according to the chart. Advantage prices are much higher: 148,000 in business from Singapore to the West Coast, for example.

Where it shines

- A published chart, with modest 2025 increases
- Four U.S. banks transfer in

Where it falls short
- Saver premium seats are scarce
- Business to Singapore costs well over 100,000 miles
- Miles expire after three years regardless of activity
- Partner awards usually cheaper elsewhere
The Atelier Take
KrisFlyer is a specialist’s program: hard to beat for Singapore Airlines’ own premium cabins, rarely the best choice for anything else.
